Should I Be Concerned?

Okay, so it was annoying to our guests on Thanksgiving when Henry tried to jump in their laps and lick them, panting like a dog. But it's almost unconsciously now that he's picking up doggie mannerisms. I looked over as he was watching Super Why and this is what he was doing...

He loves his exersaucer!

I was so glad to find a hook-on high chair that also has a tray. Today was my first day using it, and it was a success! He's such a big boy!

Uh Oh! Here we go!

I went upstairs to find the bag for my knitting, while Charlie was playing on his blanket. When I came back down...."Where's Charlie?!" (look up in the upper half of the picture)

Here I Am! Notice the pices of wheat thin on the floor under the table from our playdate...awesome...

Mirror, Mirror on the wall...

I could hear henry talking to himself while I was making dinner...he's such a character. He's saying that he's a pirate, and then he's opening and closing the drain saying "Into the Cage!"

Henry loves Tea Parties...which really he just loves having the tiny cup of water...entertains him for a long time, and that's all I care about :)

Tea for Two

Our new table is much better suited to our space and to our climbing toddler...no more booster seat for him!

We went to IKEA so I could get their super special on a dining table...table and four chairs for $59! I let henry pick out a new bed set, with a comforter to insert in the cover, in the vain hope that it will make him sleep in his own bed all. night. long.

I put the PB Kids velour sheet on Charlie's bed for some more warmth...with these love nests built for one, who wouldn't love to sleep in them? I know, My kids!

Henry said..."My Bed Looks Like a Lobster, now!"

I've created a monster. He kept doing headstands and finally said "Take a Picture! I'm bein' CRAZY!"

Where's the Baby?

"There I Am!" Too bad he doesn't take naps like the baby, eh?

Yes, We Can! (and did)

Even the little ones know how great this country can be with the right leadership. I broke the news to H first thing this morning. (We need to work on the pronunciation, but...)

Lost...

My book fell on the road because I left it on the top of my car when I put Henry in his carseat at the park...I re-traced my route over two hours later, and found it in the road about 5 miles from the park run over several times but really in great condition given the circumstances...I got the finger from the guy behind me, but other than that it was incident-free given that it was a busy on-road.

I'm A Cow!

We were eating dinner and I looked over and Henry had taken the paper ring off of his napkin and put a curved french fry in it...can you guess what he thought it was? Yep, he said "Moooooooooooooooooooooo. I'm a cow!" He has such a great imagination, I love it!

You Are My Sunshine

The sports bar by our house has "Kiddie Karaoke" on some nights and kids eat free so a bunch of us from my mom's group went. Henry was very excited to sing, but I didn't think he really would. He got right up and sany You Are My Sunshine in front of everyone! In the beginning, it was really sweet because he was swaying back and forth to the music, but I forgot Iwas recording and was prompting him like a Jon Benet stage mom, then put the camera down, so had to start with a new video...

I don't know if you can tell, but he's saying umm um um ummmm, then he picks up with the words when Old Gene Autry joins him. I was SO proud of him. I thought he'd be more shy, but he just said "I want to sing with the microphone!" and did it. Guess he has more of his mama in him than I thought.
