Boston Trip

The State House...isn't it beautiful?

At the Olde Union Oyster House...the longest running restaurant (continuously open) in the United States

Henry with the lobster sucker I got him to keep busy while sight-seeing...it got EVERYWHERE, but he was happy.

We took them to Mike's Pastries on Hanover, and introduced Pat the fine world of Canolli...(or canollo as is the singular, but nobody ever eats just one)she's going to invest in the kit to make them at home

Tougas and More

Henry, Ken and Pat at Tougas Farms (Pat and I picked raspberries with Charlie while Henry and Ken were enthralled with the tractor.) This is a tractor like the one that Ken had on his family's farm as a boy...couldn't miss the photo op!

Three generations of Wutzke boys on the MTA...well, it's the MBTA now, but you get the idea...

Henry loves to ride the train, constantly asking "What's that noise?!"

Henry's been saying "Argh! Ahoy Matees!" a lot, so this was a great photo op for us

Henry's first kite-flying experience. Grandma and Grandpa bought him a cook kite that's all fabric, so there are no sticks to break!

They have the same mouth, but it's fun to see all the ways they're different at a similar age. Charlie's a month younger about than Henry was.

Duck Tours

We went on the Boston Duck Tours with Ken and Pat. This was our second time on the tours, and it was a lot of fun. We left a different site this time, so the route was a little different. They're a lot of fun and a great way to get an overview of this city. It's such a beautiful city with so much history. We also walked the Freedom Trail, which is a great way to see things up close, and take your own time...plus it's free ;)

For this tour, our guide was "Disco Dan".

Yep, that's Henry driving. Once we get out in the bay, they let passengers drive for a minute...it's going a whopping 8 miles an hour :)
