Oh the humidity!

No, this is not the result of rain last night...nor is it fresh morning dew. It's the result of the humidity outside against the window with a/c on the inside...yeah "Let's go to the park!" Sounds like fun, right? :)

Jenn and her fiancee, Jim, came through on their big rig and Henry got to sit in the driver's seat...it was the best part of his day!

Henry waited in line for a good fifteen mintes to see Elmo at the Davis Farmland family/member appreciation night. His comment to Jared; "That Elmo is way too big!" He knows that Elmo usually rides around Sesame Street on a trike his size :)

You gotta hand it to whoever was in that costume...it was about 90 degrees and very humid...a black sky and breeze made it tolerable, but the last thing I'd be wanting to wear in that weather is a giant fuzzy costume with kids clamoring all over me! But we appreciated it nonetheless.

I put Charlie in his seat without a blanket and that was clearly unacceptable to Henry, who covered him up and gave him a toy...what a good big brother!

Henry likes to cover Jared in blankets and make him "Justappeared"...note the hat Jared's wearing Ken and Pat :)

My friend Michele told me about this cool website befunky.com you can make yourself into a cartoon! Am I the only one that instantly started singing "Take me oooooooooooooooooon" (You know, the Aha video where he's dating a cartoon?) I may not have been old enough to watch MTv then, but my sisters who babysat me were! :)

Radio Flyer

Henry goes to sleep with so much stuff in his bed...after he falls asleep we take it out, but he insists that he needs it all to sleep with him...

After he did this several nights in a row, we finally just moved his bed to the other side of the room, and he sleeps in it just fine now...but this takes a little organization and persistence in the night, he did it all on his own...each night moving further from his bed frame.

The highlight for the mom's of the museum trip was a stop at the bakery, Flour, which won a sticky bun contest on the Food Network show Throwdown with Bobby Flay...they were really good, but mom's are better (seriously)
