We had a great day at the Boston Children's Museum. We went with several other moms from my group so it was mayhem and double strollers all around! Henry did really well, played a ton, and was thoroughly exhausted by the time we went home. We used our Christmas gift from Rod and Laura (entry tickets) and then I found out that another museum pass that I have has reciprocity with the BCM, so we'll be able to go back for free!

aaaaaaaaaaaand, it's time to go home :) The pics below are from our time inside.

How could this possibly NOT be a fire hazard? There is only one exit and one entrance...Henry got trampled and started crying so I had to have him fished out by one of the bigger kids. It made me claustrophobic just looking at it. This is like 20 feet tall...it's amazing!

Hard Hat Henry

This was one of Henry's favorite parts of the museum...he had a hard time with the concept of taking turns.

The Bobsie Twins

It had to happen...I found these matching Gymboree jammies about two weeks before I had Charlie and couldn't resist. Henry loves to hold Charlie, and is actually pretty good at it. He's also been good about not holding him unless I specifically place him in his arms, so we hopefully won't have a Sara/Manda repeat (sorry Manda:) )

Waiting in line for Charlie's first hayride at Davis Farmland. Too bad he slept through it :)

Henry was very proud of his new 'hat' which matched his shirt...too bad it was the bloomers to Charlie's onesie outfit...you can't really see the leg holes, but they're right in front.

Hungry, Hungry Hippo

Henry declared himself "Hungry Henry Hippo" with Charlie's towel on his head.

I'll take a nap from both of them any way I can get it! It looks like my hand is clawing into Henry's head, but I was rubbing his hair as he had just fallen asleep...

ahhh...the first of what I hope are many sweet shared moments. Henry has been really good with Charlie so far, and is very interested in making sure that I meet his needs. As soon as Charlie starts to cry, he'll say "Charlie needs milk." or "Charlie wants you to hold him."

He's hungry Ahahahahallll the time. 'Feed me Seymore!'
This is him not being amused that I'm taking a picture of his attempts to nurse instead of indulging him.
And after getting what he wanted ;)

The Wutzke Dairy

I pulled out the ole pump, and it was a success, so we tried a little bottle for Charlie...this will enable us to keep our date nights, and my movie nights, etc without worrying about nursing just before we leave and rushing home. Good times.

Sing the Candy Dolly Song!

This is the refrain that I hear about 500 times before bedtime every night now that Granny re-introduced the song that she used to sing to us when we were little. So, I started asking him to sing it to me instead. He has such a sweet little voice, but it took several tries to get him to do it for the camera because he gets silly and starts replacing the first letter of the words with b's and d's (you'll see at the end.) Anyway, I think it's pretty cute...

I recorded Henry singing his lullabyes because he's so darn cute, but he 'needed' a picture of the two of us. Good times... :)

CAT!

These are Henry's two camera smiles...he forgets that in normal life he is able to smile with his eyes open just fine. Jared and Henry were at BJ's (New England's Costco) and he found this dump truck...definately the highlight of his day!

Baby Charlie in Action

Ahhhh...Heaven

These pictures were taken by me just turing around in my living room...I love the guys, but seriously, it's great when they both sleep AT THE SAME TIME! This is Henry after his nap...guess he was still tired when he wandered out to join me in the living room.

Presents Galore!

We came in from the playground to find a big package from Uncle Ben (he was careful to clarify that it was not the Rice magnate, but our own Uncle Ben) and Aunt Heidi. Henry LOVES elephants, so was very excited to find a new friend, with his own carrying case!

He had to bring out the "mommy elephant" Elly-phont to meet her new baby. He did several re-makes of the scene in Dumbo where they rub trunks and sing to each other.
Charlie with his new blanket and sock monkey. I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but the jacket the monkey is wearing is the same fabric as the blanket...so cute!

Big Brother Party

We had a 'Big Brother' Party for Henry, which was basically a playdate with cupcakes, and what Jared dubbed the choking hazard lunch because it consisted of hot dogs, grapes and popcorn.
