Hurricane Henry

That is an attachment from our vacuum cleaner in his hands. He was playing it like you would a clarinet, and thought he was hillarious. I don't even want to think about all the germs and allergens he exposed himself to, but it'll make him more resistant in Kindergarten, right?

More Belly Pics

Yeah, definitely bigger this time. Here's a picture of me now (at 23 weeks) and a picture of me pregnant with Henry at about 5 weeks further along (about 30 weeks). I guess I just carried them different, because my belly is lower with Henry.

Broccoli Wockly

You saw it here first folks! After I made him chew and swallow without spitting it out, he realized that he does like broccoli afterall...he just never let it get far enough into his mouth before!

Bath-time Diva

Henry went to a music class today, and his talents have been unleashed! I ran into the bathroom to catch him singing, as he'd been going at it for awhile...He was singing a combination of Wheels on the Bus and Twinkle Little Star...his two favorites currently.

Naptime is Booktime

Henry and Jared reading together. Obviously, Henry takes that Berenstein Bears very seriously!

Oh, the Weather Outside is Frightful!

This snow all came overnight. I wish I had taken a picture yesterday, because it was bare grass outside our window!

Sunny Days, Chasin' the Clouds Away!

All our snow is essentially melted, but everyone that passed by us at the playground said "Enjoy this while it lasts, we're supposed to get 10 inches tonight!" I thought, I'll believe it when I see it...well, this morning I saw it!
Henry played for about 40 minutes digging at this snow with a stick...oh, the things that will keep him busy!

Like Mother, Like Son

Aparrently Henry's going to be as pleasant as his mother when he first wakes up...can't wait for the teen years!

I'm a Fire Engine!

Henry got this fireman's hat as a hand-me-down from a mom in the playgroup, and as you can see, it's his new favorite:) He even makes a wonderful screeching noise which he has identified as a "fire truck" so if I can catch it on video, I'll post it. It's pretty funny.

In John Deere Green

Pat made this blanket for Jared for Christmas; but it's a contest as to who's enjoying it more...

Magnolia Bakery Vanilla Cupcakes

I made the vanilla cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery's recipe for my book club and they turned out pretty good. Between the frosting and the batter, they had FOUR sticks of butter, so it's definitely not your average "let's have some cupcakes today" recipe..>Henry sure loved 'em.

More of Henry

Henry with his backward pj's...but we haven't had anymore diaper pulling off incidents :)
More of Oscar...he seems to have some staying power.

Henry after his bath...he loves me to "wrap me up!" and then he sits in the chair for about 20 minutes to dry off. So cute.

The little peanut on the couch, taking a nap...ahhh a glorious site. Notice the John Deere blanket...he loves it!

The following three posts are from the trip we took up to Maine in November. Irealized that I never posted them, so once they've been in this spot for a week or so, I'll move them to the right date. Enjoy, we sure did!

Trip to Portland (Maine, that is)

Views from our trip to Portland.

Portland Maine

The Portland Regency
The streets of Downtown Portland
Kennebunkport...Yep, that's the infamous Bush Compound, as seen from the road
Look at the enormous houses along the road to the Bush's!

Bar Harbor Inn

For our second night of the trip, we stayed at the Bar Harbor Inn in Bar Harbor. It was the first time that it had been really cold in New England for us, and it was so beautiful. There are definite perks to going on trips during the off-season. We'd never had been able to stay here during a peak time. The last two pictures are the view from our room. It was so fun!
