My mom made this quilt for Jared and I for Christmas. The top was done then, and she completed the quilting and sent it on. Pieced with a sewing maching, and quilted by hand there are a lot of hours poured into this one! She made the same pattern for Manda out of blues and purples.

Wakey Wakey, Eggs and Bakey

We are still clearly on West Coast time...when I groaned awake this morning to Henry's "I'm Hungry!" I looked at the clock and it was quarter to nine! Anyone who knows my kids knows that this just doesn't happen...I heard Charlie babbling in his crib, and went to get him...the smell hit me as soon as I walked in the room. All I can say is, thank goodness for the sleep sack...

Splish, Splash...Got the Poop Off In My Bath

Henry loves to have his picture taken, and this is his favorite pose lately. We had a wonderful time in Oregon, Henry has lots of mosquito bites to show for all the time he spent outside. Now, I have double guilt about living in an apartment after all his time running around because he's added "a backyard" to his birthday wishlist. Just one more year, chicky! We are so looking forward to moving back home but as the time approaches, the realization of just how much we'll be leaving here will make it a bittersweet move. Henry has become such a little man here, and he's started dropping his r's like a true Massachutan...too bad it's when he's yelling "NEVAH!" in response to my request that he wash his hands or some other menial task. But what can you do?

My birthday camera came in the mail today and I left the groceries in the car so that I could come in and take a few test shots! (you can see the box it came in on the counter :))Luckily, I have two very willing subjects. These shots haven't been doctored at all and I'm pretty happy with them, so I'm really excited to learn all the things it can do! Thanks to Jared, Sherri, Ken and Pat, and Mom and Dad for getting it for me!
