The snorkel mask didn't last long!

Jared said 'Sara, not everything is a photo opp.' Yes it is! Grouchbox or smile, it's up to you! ;)

Our new favorite routine is to eat dinner outside before playing a little longer and coming in for baths and bedtime. They love the novelty of al fresco dining and I love the lack of clean-up!

He's all about making faces these days for his 'movies'

He never slows down.

Enjoying the early morning hours with his babies. I almost never get a chance to take pictures without being seen!

Big Boy Beds!

As soon as Charlie doesn't need the full-length rail, they'll have a head and foot-board each until the beds are ready to be bunked.

The much anticipated robot sheets!

The transition to big boy bed was seamless. I'm so relieved!

Tonight we ate dinner outside, which they loved. They romp in the yard like little puppies.

Are you sensing a theme? He falls all of the time, and his face is constantly sporting a new injury. It doesn't slow him down, though, he's always on the go, go, go! Henry is such a good big brother and it's so fun to see their bond really developing.

Coffee Club in the Walla Walla

This was our first week attending coffee club. It's every week here, and we meet up at one of the member's houses then walk to the coffee shop. It was quite the entourage today, but it was so nice to be in a town with sidewalks. One of the little boys, whose family also just moved here, is only four days apart from Henry and they've really clicked.

Looking at some of the shops downtown from the outdoor seating of Olive Marketplace; Sapolil Cellars' tasting room, Brights Candies (an institution in Walla Walla) and several other super cute shops.

The Backyardigans

They sure love their back yard! There is no chance of a bath-less night. Their feet are filthy, their heads are sweaty, their skin is sticky with sunscreen and we've never been happier!

Days 1 and 2 of Operation: Build That Fence!

Running a string to get a plumb line

The posts are set like pretty maids all in a row

Day Three

All of the grandparents were in on this project. We couldn't have done it without their help!

El Fin!

By the end of Day 4 we were no longer looking out our back window at the ugly dirt pile of the empty lot

I'm not sure who was more excited to be done; Grandpa Ken or me! He put four long, hot days of work into this fence!

My backyard dream come true for the kids

I'm hoping to put a garden in on the side yard next year...maybe some sunflowers along the fence. It took Henry exactly one day to stand on the first 2x4 and figure out how to unlatch the gate. A quick trip to Home Depot for a padlock put an end to that disaster-in-waiting.

Fueled by Fine Wine

I ran this one a half-hour slower than the last, but the course was so much harder! I ran almost the whole thing, so I feel good about it.

Hmmm...maybe I should have stood on the middle so I don't look quite so awkward. Either way, I was so happy to have fun girlfriends to share this experience with!
