Lincoln Logs!

Henry got Lincoln Logs that Aunt Sherri bought for his birthday ... he loves them, but Charlie wasn't so jazzed standing on the other side of the gate ;)

Henry and I made the invitations for his party...well, I let him stamp the image that I cut out and tacked on...some are more smudged than others, but he did a pretty good job all in all. I can't believe he's going to be FOUR years old!

This is the first nature picture that I've taken with my new camera, and I'm really happy with it! It's zoomed in pretty far and still really crisp...

Monkey Man...

Henry's first real attempt at the monkey bars was a success!

Jared made me crop it even though you can essentially see nothing since it's all in his fists, but I guess he thought it would be embarassing or inappropriate? Well, get used to it kiddos, mama's gonna do a lot worse than that before it's all said and done, I'm sure!

No, that's not a Library Card in his hands...Jared got his full license today! He's worked so hard for this, and I'm so proud of him. If you're wondering why it's all smudgy, it's not a trick, I just garbled up that section so that no sleuths could zoom and get all his info...I should totally be CSI!

This summer is crazy with both kids...Charlie's all over the place but with no real direction, and Henry is listening fairly well, but busy too...I may need some Xanax before the summer ends. Rod will be happy to know that Henry has started to ask when he can get a surf board and 'take surf board lessons'...looks like you may get to teach both of us someday! :)

This is as we were leaving. I was trying to get him to say "Beeeeeeeach!", instead it was 'beach' because he was not happy to go home...
