We tore into a boxed set of Hickory Farms, complete with summer sausage and smoked cheddar (YUM!) Even Henry liked it. I got his stocking out of storage last night, and it's waiting patiently for Santa to come...

Our sweet silver tinsel tree with all our presents. We didn't bring them downstairs until after Henry had gone to bed because they never would have lasted this long.

Exciting news for the Edvalson Clan...the last daughter is being married off! Congrats to Kyle and Sherri! What a pair of Happy Hawkeyes.

It's official...the belly is starting to grow! My waistband makes it look a little funky, but it's there for sure...Henry tugging at me...hmmm...that's so weird!

Just a little over a week until we find out if it's Baby Girl or Baby Boy!

Winter Wonderland

I took this first picture last Wednesday just as the first flakes were starting to fall, the second picture is from an hour later. The bottom two photos are from today, and it's snowing again. It is so lovely outside!

Mmmmm...snow cones

There's a layer of ice under all the new snow due to the freezing rain from before. It was so pretty...all the open spaces looked like they were covered in a layer of fondant...it didn't feel so pretty against my shins today!

You can guess where my imagination took me with this...I was almost disappointed to find only a pair of discarded gloves at the end of the slide ;)

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Henry was so fascinated by Santa (and the chocolate lollipop that he got) that I couldn't get him to look at the camera, so the bottom photo was the best effort. But, he didn't cry!

Henry had a lot of fun dragging his elephant around the house with his little monkey back-pack/leash...hmmmm

"Ginger"bread Man

We bought a big gingerbread man and whipped up a batch of blue sugary goodness. Henry had a lot of fun with the sprinkles!
