It's official. Jared is hopelessly devoted to me! I asked him if he could get some pictures of himself by the helicopter since his LifeFlight month is drawing to an end, so he took the camera today and had the head LifeFlight nurse take pictures of him. Isn't he dandy? The moustache is something that all the guys said they would do during their flight month...let's see if they all follow through, but good ole JW wasn't going to let anyone down. What a handsome fellow.
This was Henry's first playdate at our house...they ended up having the most fun opening and shutting the closet door...who'd have known with all the toys in the room?
Treasure Hunt at a friend's house...this was an organized event as part of my mom's group.
I stayed afterward until it was time to pick Jared up from work. We were visiting and looked over to realize that the kids had jumped into the swiming pool from summer...it was freezing water with leaves and other debris, but the boys thought it was the best thing since sliced bread! When he was fully shivering, I took him out...they had a ball!
Henry is obsessed lately with having a hat and jacket on at all times lately. He especially freaks out if we don't "Zip IT! ZIP IT!" It's not really that cold in our house...
We organize a certain number of activities every quarter that are for the whole family. For this one, we went apple picking at one of the mom's farms...I'm going to make some yummy applesauce!
There goes Henry with his stylin' Peck bag slung over one arm. It was 90 degrees when we left the house at 11, so it was a HOT day for apple picking, but we still had fun.
Henry has found a new best friend in the form of his "Haffy Feet" doll. He wanted it buckled in with him, and is trying to put his arm around it in the bottom picture. He had so much fun with Sophie when we were in Portland, and now he can be heard frequently saying Tophia Workin', because he thinks that's where she is, and why she's not at his disposal :(
Worcester is known as the birthplace of the American diner. Each table has a working jukebox, and some other period pieces. The kids all get chef's hats, and it's just a fun place.
