Another Duck

Under the Bridge...Boston's next project for restoration. They're going to build a temporary bridge that parallels it, and restore this one...to the tune of about 70 million dollars.

Plymouth Rocks!

This is the Mayflower II, and it is a replica of the original. You can walk around it and costumed (or not) employees will talk to you about it from an historical perspecitve. Of course, the most fun were the costumed guides who spoke from the perspective of then, but it was great. It was mostly amazing how small the ship was when you considered that there were 102 passengers (just on the one level) that didn't include the other 30+ members of the crew who actually sailed them across, or the pigs, goats, two dogs and some chickens that joined it. I felt claustrophobic just being below deck...I can't imagin 2 plus months on rocking waves!

Here it is...again, I can't believe how small it is! They are doing construction on the Portico, so you had to view the rock through a little window. About two-thirds of the rock is below water, but it's still not much bigger than a La-z-boy chair or something. I was expecting at least Haystack Rock, but what can you say. Aparrently, in the past they had a chisel and hammer laying next to the rock so people could just chip off their own piece of history...they've obviously put an end to that! When Pat and Ken get back from NYC, I'll download her photos and add them as well.

Mean Mommy

This will teach Henry what it means when I say "I'm going to take away all of your toys if you don't clean them up"...yep, he was on the other side of that gate...with nothing but his rug and bed to keep him company. Good Times at the Wutzke house for sure!

Henry was 'sharing' his hat with Charlie...he looks like a little hip-hop star with it on.

I told Henry that we were going to use these stickers for a potty chart...I didn't explain what that meant, and didn't realize he had the stickers...this is his interpretation of Potty Chart, along with the rest of the sheet of stickers. :)

When we saw this, I said "See Henry, this is why you need to let me cut your scraggly toenails"...he didn't seem to care much. It just adds personality to he picture, right?

Henry spent some time at Sherri and Kyle's and aparrently picked up a little ESPN attitude, because he's been walking around with his screwdriver, using it as a microphone talking about footbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall. :)

Charlie's profile reminds me a lot of Jared's baby pictures in this video. Maybe because his hair looks darker? This one is definitely another that will bore most people, but Granny and Grandma will like it ;)

Almost three months old already! I can't believe how quickly the time is going...

We're trying out gdiapers...they're a cloth alternative that has a flushable/throw-away insert. So far it's the happy medium between cloth and disposables for us.

Henry got his rocking chair privileges back...we'll see how long it lasts this time.

Part of potty training has been that Henry has discovered his inner OCD and looooooves to wash his hands about 400 times a day.
